Papaver luminosum is the first real flower light. There are three Lights in this series, each one containing one poppy.
Papaver pəˈpeɪvər is a genus of 70–100 species of frost-tolerant annuals, biennials, and perennials native to temperate and cold regions of Eurasia, Africa and North America. It is the type genus of the poppy family, Papaveraceae.
The Lights are made of handmade paper flowers on a long and slender stalk. A soft light is embedded in the heart of the flower. The light would perfect as a night light. The flower is placed on a base of green, mossy needlefelted wool.
